Samsung Galaxy Note 4 leak indicates an outstanding 16MP camera sensor from Sony
Evan Blass, popularly known by his Twitter handle @evleaks,
has leaked the press image of the upcoming Motorola Moto X+1.The Moto
X+1 is the successor to Moto X and is expected to be announced during
Motorola’s press event at IFA along with Moto G2 and Moto 360 smartwatch 2014.
Samsung is surely not a good secret-keeper as the details about its highly anticipated smartphone, the Galaxy Note 4 are being sprinkled all over the Internet. The latest leak spills that this flagship Android phablet from Samsung will reportedly be using a 16-megapixel Sony IMX240 camera sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and 4K UHD video recording capability at 30 fps. The Sony IMX240 is the same camera sensor which is used in the Korea-only version of Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A.
The front-facing camera of the Galaxy Note 4 will be a 3.7-megapixel unit, capable of capturing images and video in WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). This will be a noticeable bump in resolution and capabilities from the widely used 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera sensor by Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 seems to be well equipped to handle the sky-high expectations from consumers. But there is much more to be revealed in a matter of 2 weeks, so stay tuned with us to keep up with all the action.
